Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SoundDistrict may collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our apps, website, and related services.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to SoundDistrict, including the SoundDistrict mobile application, public website, creator or operator experiences, and related services operated by CORZOHUB LLC.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use SoundDistrict, we may collect information you provide directly and information generated through use of the service.

  • Account information: name, email address, account identifiers, profile details, account role, and authentication information handled through our account systems.
  • Profile and creator information: display name, biography, profile image, artist information, submissions, playlists, and other content you choose to provide.
  • Location information: device location when you grant permission, used to determine your current SoundDistrict district and support local discovery features.
  • Usage and device information: app interactions, feature usage, device details, diagnostics, and security-related activity used to operate and improve the service.
  • Subscription information: entitlement and purchase-status information needed to determine access to Premium features. Payment card details are handled by the relevant app store or payment provider and are not stored by SoundDistrict.
  • Communications: information you send when contacting support, submitting feedback, or requesting creator access.
  • Early access updates: if you join the SoundDistrict launch list, we collect the name, email address, interest type, consent status, and signup timing needed to manage those updates.

3. Location and district privacy

Location is a core SoundDistrict feature. When permission is granted, we may use your device location to determine the district associated with your real/current location and to rank locally relevant music and content.

SoundDistrict is designed so public discovery experiences do not need to expose a listener's exact live location. Public map and scene experiences may use district-level or privacy-safe aggregated signals rather than raw personal coordinates.

You can control location permission through your device settings. Some local discovery features may not work correctly if location access is disabled.

4. How we use information

  • Provide authentication, profiles, playlists, discovery, location-based district assignment, notifications, and other app features.
  • Determine Premium access and enforce feature entitlements.
  • Operate artist and creator submissions, moderation, curation, and catalog management.
  • Protect accounts, prevent abuse, investigate reports, and maintain platform integrity.
  • Understand feature performance and improve SoundDistrict.
  • Communicate service notices, support responses, and account-related information.

5. Service providers

We may use third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate SoundDistrict. These may include hosting and backend services, subscription and entitlement providers, email delivery providers, app stores, analytics or diagnostics providers, and mapping or location-related services. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We may disclose information when necessary to operate the service, comply with law, protect SoundDistrict or its users, investigate abuse, or complete a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition. Public profile or creator information may be visible to other users when you choose to publish it.

We do not make a user's precise live location publicly visible as part of the normal listener experience.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it is processed.

8. Your choices

You may be able to update profile information in the app, change device permissions, adjust notification preferences, or request help with account information. Rights available to you may also depend on where you live.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect SoundDistrict data. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their credentials and devices.

10. Children

SoundDistrict is not intended for anyone who is prohibited by applicable law from using the service. Where parental or guardian consent is legally required, users must obtain that consent before using SoundDistrict.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SoundDistrict evolves. When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, website, or another appropriate method and update the effective date above.
